Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Key Steps To Guarantee It's 2014 Game Of The Year

4. Make Navigation More Intuitive

Arkham Knight will reportedly be 5 times larger than Arkham City, which means that Rocksteady have seriously got to fix the horribly frustrating navigation system in place. The marker will always lead you to the building in question that you're looking for, but will simply direct you in circles when it comes to actually finding out how to enter the area. It doesn't matter if it's a police station, courthouse, or a run-down mill; the point of entry is never obvious. And that's not necessarily a bad thing, considering Batman has earned the moniker of World's Greatest Detective, but when there are henchmen with guns that can shred your health to pieces instantly appointed on every rooftop, frustrating isn't even the word to begin describing the feeling of getting shot at while searching for an incredibly vague entrance. It results in you dying over and over, and heading different ways every time all in the hopes that you bump into the right area. This flaw has plagued every single Arkham game in franchise history as well. It's time to get rid of the unintuitive tracker that only gives you a general direction, and dedicate time into inserting a handcrafted mini map to be displayed on-screen. If done so, Arkham Knight will be a hell of a lot less frustrating to navigate.
