3. Other Playable Characters

Thus far in the Arkham series, gamers have been able to play as two characters other than Batman outside of challenge maps: Catwoman throughout the main story of Arkham City and Robin throughout the DLC Harley Quinn's Revenge. Both of those offered very different play styles (especially Catwoman) and were a way for Rocksteady to experiment with characters other than Batman himself. Robin also appeared in the story of Arkham City for a brief moment offering help, which Batman of course refused. Seeing segments such as the Catwoman levels reappear in Arkham Knight would be very cool simply because they offer a break from the action. Catwoman did her own thing through most of Arkham City until she and Batman's stories crossed at the end, and this same approach could be used in Arkham Knight, either with Catwoman again or someone like Robin or Nightwing. This would be a fun escape from Batman's story and also offer gamers experimentation with other forms of combat.
