Batman: Arkham Knight - 8 Big Worries From The "Officer Down" Trailer

1. It Just Doesn€™t Feel Like Batman

A carryover from Arkham City, as that version of the Dark Knight had him going after Talia for a quick romp in the Lazarus Pit rather than focussing on saving Gotham itself, and that's without mentioning how little respect he appears to have for his supporting team. Obviously as mentioned earlier you're always going to come across varying notions of what people think Batman should be or act, but now that we've seen some considerable chunks of gameplay and it's focussed primarily in him hopping in a tank to dole 'justice' to those on the other side of his Bat-cannons, it all feels very off. Most of Batman's greatest tales have been pitting him against foes with nothing but his wits to save him, and sure in the Under The Red Hood storyline in particular that did mean calling on the Batmobile to fire in out the blue and skewer a guy into the harbour, Injustice-style. But, as one of the biggest gripes with Nolan's Dark Knight Rises were the later scenes where Batman's blasting all and sundry with the cannons mounted to his aerial Bat(plane), avoiding a gun-happy Bat who seems to be up for shooting manned vehicles altogether would've been a better call. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2ieOuO1Lbk How have you found the new trailer?
