Batman: Arkham Knight Batgirl DLC - 9 Big Things It Finally Gets Right
2. A Sense Of Mystery
Not unlike the Cyrus Pinkey murder of Arkham Origins, A Matter of Family has its own mystery to be solved - that being how the Seagate fairground came into existence. As players take part in some fairground rides they will unlock various recordings chronicling the final days of billionaire Edmund Burke - the man who created the park to accommodate his daughter suffering with cancer. However, the more puzzles the player solves the more they begin to understand that this notably tragic tale harbours considerably sinister undertones. After the player has solved all four puzzles the true intent of the fairground becomes all too apparent, and ties in the DLC perfectly with Arkham Asylum. Not only did Joker (going by the name of Jack White at the time) trick the grief-stricken Burke into creating the park in his image, he and Quinzel conspired to murder him - his final tape revealing his death along with his daughter's. It's a truly dark tale, but one that establishes Joker's relationship with Dr. Penelope Young - the creator of the Titan formula that would later come to dominate Arkham's events - very well.
