6. Batgirl's Content Should've Been In The Main Game
There's a niggling feeling when you look at the Batgirl DLC, that it feels like it was initially scheduled to be in the main game. Think about it; the core story of Barbara being crippled is key to her character, provides a spot for Mark Hamill to get his Joker on outside of wandering in and out of your subconscious every few minutes, and helps establish her presence as something more than just a voice in your ear. Most likely we'd have experienced this as a flashback or optional secret trigger from inside the Clocktower, not as a paid extra that - although it 'works' in as much as it's fun to play in another skin - doesn't even come close to feeling worthwhile. Even thematically, aside from saving the reveal of the Joker's existence as something inside Bats' mind, the fact Mark Hamill was in the game became apparent as soon as cast lists and reviews started filtering out. The point where he pops up from behind Bats would still have hit home from the way it was shot, and we could've been led to believe he was dead by deliberately focussing on this one-time flashback mission as his last hurrah.
