From what we have seen thus far the biggest addition to Arkham Knight is the implementation of the Batmobile. As mentioned previously, with the world Rocksteady have created expanding toward an unprecedented scale, the need to gain a more fluid mode of transportation was needed. The progression of the game into the use of the Batmobile feels like the most natural way of achieving this while allowing the developers new ways of utilising the Batmobile within combat, Riddler challenges etc, and offers up exciting new ways of integrating players within Gotham. With the vehicle also being upgradable like Batman himself, it does point towards Rocksteady utilising the iconic vehicle fluidly. The design of the Batmobile feels and looks original but naturally it takes influences from the differing interpretations of the Batmboile from the films. The large wheels and tank-like structure immediately points toward Nolan's Tumbler design, while the fins toward the rear of the vehicle as well the exhausts provide similarities toward the Tim Burton films. It's a very good design but the importance lies within how the Batmobile is integrated into the game, it simply cannot be something used to get from point A to point B. From what we know it does feature its own arsenal of weapons including missiles and can be called upon from any point within Gotham like the Dark Knight's version of a Red Dead Redemption horse. As shown within the trailer Batman can launch himself into battle providing an additional tactic when confronting combat strategy. Finally, it has been seen that there will be races integrated into the game, and it's in these races that a new ability will be opened up featuring a radar pulse allowing the player to alter the track, something which could allow new strategies to completing a lap in the fastest time.
