13. Largest Open World Gotham Yet
According to several leaks surrounding the new project, the newest entry in the Batman gaming series will feature the largest open-world version of Gotham we've seen so far.
Given the size and scope of Gotham in Arkham Knight, this is a very tantalising prospect indeed. Both Warner Bros Montreal and Rocksteady have a habit of filling their open worlds with plenty of things to see and do, so there's little fear here that they'll be big worlds just for the sake of being big.
The devs also love to stuff their worlds full of easter eggs and references to Batman's long and stories history, with previous games including everything from the hospital that gave birth to Hush to Lex Luthor's skyscraper, hinting at their being a wider world than we'd seen previously.
Wonder if we'll finally be able to control the Batwing to get around? The grapple gun is all well and good, but it'd be really cool to zoom around in Batman's personal fighter jet, right?
