Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 1 Review - 7 Ups & 3 Downs

4. Amanda Waller Is An Excellent Addition

Alongside The Riddler, the most successful new addition to the roster is Amanda Waller, voiced with tenacious authority by Debra Wilson.

Waller shows up near the beginning of the episode as a member of a shadowy government organisation called The Agency, who has been hot on The Riddler's heels for quite some time and doesn't much approve of The Dark Knight's involvement.

Her constant meddling in Bats and Jim Gordon's relationship creates an interesting dramatic counter-point during the episode, and a climactic revelation clinches just how important she's clearly going to be throughout this series.
