Battlefield 1: 9 Big Worries We Have After The Beta
4. Bullet Sponge
Look, I hold my hands up - I'm no expert on military-grade weapons systems, especially when it comes to those used during the Great War.
With that said, I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that, in real life, it wouldn't take upwards of 20 shots from an anti-infantry turret to injure a single person, let alone kill them.
Now, I'm not suggesting that a single shot from any source should be an instant kill (that's what Hardcore is for, after all), but let's keep it at least somewhat realistic, eh?
Heavy-duty weapons shouldn't be something you just stroll past and ignore, they're sole purpose is, after all, to suppress attackers and defend objectives.
The same goes for horses, by the way. If I manage to lodge a sniper round firmly in the leg or head of one, I expect it to buckle and send its rider flying, not for it to continue galloping leisurely into the sunset.
