6. DICE Sweden Are Developing (Not DICE LA)

Although the prospect of a Bad Company 3 was tantalising for fans, the fact that it was allegedly going to be developed by DICE LA rather than DICE Sweden set off alarm bells. While the LA team have more than proven their worth, working on post-launch content for both BF1 and BF4 as well as fixing a lot of the mistakes the Sweden studio shipped those games with, their track record for developing full releases has been... mixed.

Back when they were known as Danger Close, the devs were in charge of revitalising Medal of Honor for a modern audience, a task which they executed disastrously. Consequently, putting them in charge of breathing new life into another beloved franchise might not result in the home run everyone is hoping for.

Fortunately though it seems like the studio behind Battlefield 1 is producing the upcoming WW2-themed epic, meaning that it should - fingers crossed - be of the same quality as the other mainline entries in the series.
