Battlefield 5: 9 Reasons Fans Should Be Worried

5. Server Problems

The launch of DICE's previous few online oriented shooters have all been belaboured by poor servers and match-making connections. It seems at launch they simply don't have the infrastructure in place to support such massive multi-player experiences.

Which is worrying for the latest game in that genre. We can all hope that they have finally learnt their lesson, but after Battlefront 1 and 2, Battlefield: Hardline and many more, we have to wonder whether or not they have even realised it's a problem.

It's not exactly been a minor issue. From launch, these problems have belaboured these games and fans have been enthusiastic in their critique for the lack of support. But time and time again, they seem to skimp on the infrastructure to keep a multiplayer game alive.

It is massively frustrating, as with game's like Battlefront 2, there was a decent game to be played. But stomaching connection issues made it impossible to do so. So, chances are, we could get a great Battlefield game, but the likelihood of many of us playing it with stable connections is very low indeed.
