Battlefield 6: 10 Fatal Mistakes DICE Must Avoid

8. A Bland Colour Scheme

Battlefield 6 Battle Royale

We get it. War is hell. But there are colours other than brown, green and the occasional, tantalising splash of red.

And considering the amount of complaints levied at Battlefield V for making enemies practically unseeable (given how much they blended into the background) a diverse colour palette wouldn't hurt.

Now that's not to say there can't be a degree of realism when it comes to clothing and appearances, camouflage is called camouflage for a reason, after all, but aesthetics should never be to the detriment of gameplay.

It doesn't have to be Halo Red vs Blue, but there are other colours besides brown.

Another way to do it without changing the realistic colour scheme would be to highlight player outlines, similar to the spotting feature, although given the amount of players in a match at any one time this would certainly clutter up the HUD. Plus it would ruin any degree of immersion into the setting.

But really, if you're aiming for THAT level of realism, DICE, maybe take out the option of being able to jump from one jet plane to another whilst firing RPG's in mid air.
