Battlefield 6: 10 Fatal Mistakes DICE Must Avoid
7. A Small Base Game Map Roster
Over the past couple of entries especially, DICE has received no small amount of criticism for their lack of content at launch.
Whilst Battlefield 4 had 10 maps at launch, Battlefield 1 had nine, and Battlefield V had eight.
It's not hard to see why this might be a problem for Battlefield 6 if this trend continues.
And while DICE has always bolstered the roster of each game with various DLC packs, there needs to be a substantial launch package in order to retain players in the immediate short term.
It's no good making phenomenally impressive vehicles if you've barely got any anywhere to run people over.
Plus, considering a good chunk of the player base will have made the switch to next gen consoles by the time of Battlefield 6's release, there needs to be enough enjoyable content there to justify the inevitable increase in price that will accompany copies of the game.
