Battlefield 6: 10 Ways EA Can Win Back The Fans
8. Improve The User Interface And HUD
It is one of those things that players may not notice too much at first, but over time a lousy User Interface and Heads Up Display can get really irritating really quickly.
The perfect example of this was the major criticism Battlefield 5 got regarding its UI and HUD from the Battlefield community on Reddit and YouTube. Menus were needlessly hard to navigate and came across as bland while text was either too small to read or too bright. The worst part was that none of this could be customised, so players were stuck with these settings every time they played the game.
But what was extra frustrating was that older games like Battlefield 3 and 4 have a much better UI and HUD system, where everything from weapon loadouts to customisation options were easy to access on both console and PC versions. So if EA wants to address this issue, then they need look no further than previous games in the series.
Other quality of life improvements like having a map voting system and chat filters available at the games launch would go a big way in enhancing the games overall experience.
In short, they should just go back to what worked before.
