Battlefield 6: 10 Ways EA Can Win Back The Fans
3. Stronger Game Modes At Launch
The game modes available at the release of any multiplayer game are very important as they can set the stage for what players can expect of a game going forward while also building the early foundations for a strong and passionate community of players.
Battlefield 6 needs to deliver entertaining game modes from day one and could do so by learning from the game modes they have in previous Battlefield games.
Battlefield 3 had a good mix of both Rush and Conquest mode, Battlefield 4 focused more on Conquest and Battlefield 1 won fans over with Operations. These modes are seen as standard modes within Battlefield and must be treated with serious care and attention to detail. All of these game modes were made even better by the fact that there were maps designed specifically to make the most of certain modes.
EA needs to make sure modes like Rush, Conquest and Operations are available in Battlefield 6 at launch, but also avoid modes like Grand Operations in Battlefield 5.
Once they have that nailed down they can then start adding additional modes like Air Superiority and Gun Master, which are still very popular amongst the Battlefield community.
