Battlefield V: 10 Radical Gameplay Changes You Totally Missed

9. Asymmetrical Vehicles

Vehicles have always been a staple of Battlefield's multiplayer suite, but they were surprisingly limited in the most recent game. Fortunately, DICE are once again doubling down on vehicular warfare in V, not only introducing more machines to jump into, but transforming the way they're utilised in each battle.

Unlike previous games, there will be an element of asymmetrically when it comes to the vehicles players have at their disposal. While the previous title gave each team a level playing field, V will give one side heavier, more powerful tanks, for instance, while the opposing side will receive nimble, weaker machinery to pilot.

Although this could throw off the balance in game modes like conquest, it looks as though the feature will mostly be a staple of the new Grand Operations, which is based far more around asymmetrical warfare anyway.
