8. Publicity Tour
We're back in Vice City and this time a crazed transvestite fan has placed a bomb underneath the limousine of Scottish heavy metal band Love Fist, and with Tommy Vercetti and the rockers all inside, they risk being blown sky high if the car drops below a certain pace - think 1994 action film Speed, but with a more heavy metal vibe thrown in. Much like the film, if the vehicle drops below a certain speed, the bomb will detonate, and so it is up to Tommy to manically drive up and down the road whilst trying not to crash into oncoming cars whilst maintaining as high a speed as possible, until Love Fist can find a way to defuse the bomb, because apparently, as well as playing rock 'n' roll music, that's one of their specialties too. This one can be tense, particularly if you get stuck in traffic, or end up crashing the car into a wall when trying to navigate a bend without braking. You pretty much need the perfect route to pass this, one crash and it could be all over.
