Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (2005 various platforms)
Set in 1998, Liberty City Stories is the prequel to both GTA III and GTA: Advance. After being forced to hide as a result of murdering a Made Man, Tony Cipriani returns to Liberty City and starts working for Don Salvatore Leone. After realising the job he was given is actually a set up for the police to catch him, Tony later begins work for a former member of a rival criminal family. Although set in the same location as GTA III Liberty City: Stories is slightly different, examples include the ability to ride motorbikes and undeveloped areas of the city. The PSP version of the game includes the ability for up to six players to play against each other through WIFI. If this mode was chosen, a number of usually non-playable characters such as pedestrians would become available.
