Bioshock's 10 Best Moments
9. Killing Andrew Ryan - Bioshock
Throughout most of Bioshock's run, you are desperate to finally come face to face with Andrew Ryan and give him a piece of your mind. But, in true Bioshock fashion, it doesn't come together quite how you would expect.
After a jaw dropping reveal (which we will address later) you confront Ryan and are then forced to watch a cutscene of you repeatedly smashing his head in with a golf club. The fact that you are totally powerless to do anything re-enforces the game's point about choice and morality, and what would have been the triumphant boss battle in any other game is just one of many mind blowing moments in Bioshock.
On an initial playthrough it may be a little disappointing to some, but once you realise the point of the scene, and how it beautifully ties the whole story together, it's clear this was the only logical way for the story to go.
