Bioshock's 10 Best Moments
6. Playing As A Little Sister - Bioshock 2
Bioshock 2 is definitely the black sheep of the Bioshock family. Ken Levine was not involved in any way, it contains a forgettable multiplayer mode and, perhaps most unforgivable, it contradicts certain elements of the first game.
That being said, it is still worthy of at least one playthrough, and contains a number of fantastic sequences such as this one. After Sophia Lamb suffocates Eleanor, your little sister, you fall into a comatose state and it appears all is lost until Eleanor 'revives' you and places you in the shoes of a little sister.
What follows is an incredibly imaginative sequence in which we see what Rapture looks like through the eyes of the Little Sisters. It is at once fascinating and disturbing as we see a beautifully decorated city filled with posters praising Big Daddys, dead people portrayed as angels and splicers portrayed as members of high society.
It really hammers home the point that the Little Sisters are harmless victims being exploited by those in power and this section shows the manipulation and brainwashing tactics used to achieve that goal in disturbing fashion.
