Shortly after your arrival at Ramses Station, it's assaulted by NRC forces, leading to this brutal sequence in which one of your nameless comrades is torn to shreds by a motorised explosive device, which slices his arm off and, to make matters worse, an explosion causes him to get impaled with shrapnel, well and truly finishing him off.
21. That Awesome Spike Launcher
In order to fend off the NRC attack, you're tasked with destroying several structural weakpoints in an enemy tunnel, using a terrific new weapon, the Spike Launcher, to do so. The weapon allows you to fire explosive spikes at enemies three at a time and then detonate them with the push of a button, causing impressive amounts of awesome destruction. Sure, it's mainly to be used for attacking these weak points, but it's great fun running around the battlefield, blowing up vehicles and hordes of enemies.
