Bloodborne: 10 Legitimate Complaints Fans Can't Ignore

1. Dungeon Co-op Is A Pain To Set Up

In Bloodborne, in order to search for dungeons online you need a particular chalice called the Short Ritual Root Chalice, this then allows you to co-op dungeons with others, invade peoples dungeons to try and sabotage their fun times or become a guest in someone else's generated dungeon. In a way, this is Bloodborne's equivalent to quick search matchmaking for the dungeons. But the thing is, you don’t unlock this until you beat an optional boss and then complete a minimum of four single-player dungeons.

With the normal campaign setting up co-op and invasions is a relatively painless process, but with dungeons you’re prevented from doing that until much later into the game. Imagine buying a co-op game with a friend together, wanting to do play, but having to put 20-plus hours in individually before you're even allowed to attempt teamwork.

The game is most likely trying to toughen the player up before they go diving head first into an online dungeon and getting destroyed by higher level beasts and players, but it’s still not fair that the option to do this isn’t immediately available to people, or at least a little easier to come by. Something as integral as dungeon co-op should be available from the get-go.
