Borderlands 3: Everything We Know So Far

10. New Vault Hunters

Borderlands 3
2K

As always, Borderlands 3 will introduce a whole new set of playable vault hunters for players to take charge of during their journey through Pandora. Like the past two titles, there'll be four more for players to choose from, each with unique abilities.

First up is Amara, the now-staple Siren, who is apparently going to be far more melee focused than those found in Borderlands 1 and 2. It makes sense, though, considering the trailer showed her conjuring six more arms to help pulverise her foes. Fl4K is the Beastmaster who, as the name suggests, will be able to control a whole host of animals during battle. Players have spent countless hours fighting back against Skags and Spiderants, and now they'll finally be able to unleash those same beasts on their enemies.

Zane is the cool, moustachioed silver fox you've seen in the trailers, who's apparently going to play very similar to Borderlands 2's Zero. He's got plenty of gadgets to back him up, including a drone and a decoy ability that can distract enemies, and will act as the tech character. Rounding out these heroes is Maz, who can jump into her mech, Iron Bear, which is a far cry better than the standard turrets the Gunner class received in previous titles.
