Breath Of The Wild 2: 10 Features The Zelda Sequel MUST Include

2. A More Involving Story

The story of the first Breath of the Wild was intentionally left super open ended, being essentially a really long training montage before gearing up for the final boss. All Link is actually doing in the first game is stacking the deck in his favor, because as anyone who immediately bolted for Hyrule castle at the start of the game will tell you, doing any less usually results in you being disintegrated upon so much as making eye contact with the castle.

But now that Calamity Ganon is defeated, the sequel could stand to really take things up a notch by having a more involving story. Link and Zelda should have moments where they're working together, or even just adjusting to their new lives. They mention that not all of Link's memories have come back yet, so they should make good on that.

There are plenty of ways to make a more involving story this time around without getting in the way of the open ended nature of the Breath Of The Wild.

In fact, there's one major change they absolutely need to make...
