Breath Of The Wild 2: 5 Features From Past Zeldas It MUST Have

Breath of the Wild took a different approach with Ganon, making him a malignant force of pure evil.

However, in Breath of the Wild 2's trailers, Link and Zelda are shown finding a mysterious wight suspended with what appears to be Shiekah technology or magic, but their intrusion seems to awaken it from its slumber.

But who is this, and what does this mean for the sequel?

Judging from the wight's jewelry and armor - and the Gerudo symbols adorning them - as well as the long red hair and jewel piece on its forehead, it bears a striking similarity to the Gerudo King of old, Ganondorf - especially his look in games such as Twilight Princess.

Could this be the physical manifestation of the Calamity? Was this why his body was so perfectly preserved? Were those seals keeping him in place and preventing him from reawakening and plunging Hyrule into another dark age, or was it what created the form known as the Calamity?

Regardless of what the seals are, its almost guaranteed that the being seen in the trailer is the latest incarnation of Demise's curse, and potentially Ganon himself.
