Brian Terwilliger Interview: Returning To G4, WWE Partnership, Xavier Woods, More

How did the WWE-G4 partnership come about? Was working with WWE again in some capacity a goal of yours upon returning to G4?

Terwilliger: It was obvious I wanted to work with Austin as soon as possible. Then he goes ahead and creates #CreedForG4 and that made my job a hell of a lot easier. When you get all of gaming to surround around this idea and if it wasn't authentic and it wasn't earned, it wouldn't have had that same effect. It's having a team here at G4 that truly understands what gaming looks like and what G4 needs to represent which is a diverse and inclusive cast and one that represents gaming of the modern era. Then you look at what #CreedForG4 does and then you actually look at the talent behind it and who Xavier really is, it was a no-brainer. With all of that organic groundswell from the community, working with WWE again was very easy. They have a lot of very talented individuals over there and see the value in a partnership like this and also the opportunity to really make a difference.
