Call Of Duty Ghosts: 10 Ridiculous Launch Stories You Won't Believe

8. Zelda And Doctor Who Easter Eggs!

Vjhmqv5 610x343 It€™s currently unclear whether or not this awesome Nintendo side of this reference applies to all versions of the game or just the Wii U version but it€™s absolutely unexpectedly brilliant nonetheless. The above image depicts trophies with descriptions embedded on them and is taken from one of the campaign mission €œThe Federation€ The trophy on the left is actually The Doctor's TARDIS and reads "Award for Largest Interior with Smallest Exterior." The middle trophy is shaped as a Legend of Zelda rupee and reads "for most bushes cut and pots smashed." Finally, the trophy on the right isn't necessarily an Easter Egg to anything gaming related but rather a small quip at those absurd end of the world prophecies reading "for the world not ending in 2012"

7. Canada Store Robbed Of 150 Copies

Here€™s something that occurred before the game even released! A small independently run gaming store in Canada was robbed of 150 copies. Unfortunately the ones responsible got away clean as they clearly knew what they were doing. The perpetrators stole the security tape, knew exactly how to avoid tripping the alarm, and how to cut a hole through the store€™s wall. Fortunately for this store owner, am emergency shipment of games was delivered by Tuesday morning free of charge (I would assume) ensuring everyone that had preordered the game got their copy. Only the midnight launch was canceled.
