Call Of Duty: Ghosts Review - Same Old Set-Pieces

1. The Sights And Sounds Of A Warzone

Codghosts Header Call of Duty has never really ever blown us away graphically, but you have to admit its developers always put out something consistently decent. As per tradition, the campaign and multiplayer run at a buttery smooth and fast paced 60 frames per second. The textures and environments aren€™t going to rock your world but there are worse graphics out there. It€™s still a shame that the franchise is slogging in graphical fidelity as the generation comes to a close but the slick framerate definitely mitigates that missed potential. It is a bit disappointing that Infinity Ward tried retooling animations from a past iteration into this one however; they€™re essentially providing their own fuel to the fire regarding the accusations that they just shove out the same game every year. And if you have absolutely no clue what I am talking about, watch the clip below. As far as audio and original music go, I hold no stance and remain indifferent. Everything ranging from the bullet effects to explosions to the typical score just screams Call of Duty, which isn€™t a bad thing at all. I do think it€™s awesome that Survival by Eminem plays over the ending credits though. So, what's the final verdict?
