After World at War, we had almost no idea of whether Zombies would definitely be returning in Treyarch's next game, Black Ops. Come launch, we were blessed with one of the most simplistic, yet perfect maps new Zombies players could ask for, Kino Der Toten.

Being more of a refresher to those who'd lost all zombie-slayeng knowledge after quickscoping noobs for a year in Modern Warfare 2, Kino reinvigorated the Zombies fandom tenfold by getting everyone back on the 115-fueled train nice and easily.

Blending tight stairwells with open spaces, simple Pack a Punch steps, and new gun turret traps, it was the best thing for both returning players and newcomes alike.

Kino didn't really bring anything new and hugely influential to the table (bar the Thundergun and Nova zombies), but the map itself, with just how simple to understand and replayable it is, remains a fan-favourite to this day.
