Call Of Duty: Every Treyarch Zombies Map Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Ancient Evil
Aside from IX, the Chaos saga to this point was a lacklustre experience, and fans were rightfully concerned about the Aether storyline ending and leaving us with Chaos, but Ancient Evil managed to get at least the feeling of Chaos back on track, and it did so with flying colours.
Set in the true location of Delphi, Greece, Ancient Evil takes place deep underground. With the characters knee-deep in Greek mythology, the map is split into two, one side being Delphi, the other being more of a hellish, dark-side environment.
The map itself was a vibrant joy to run around in, with skeleton enemies being a tough, yet fair addition to the hordes, as well as a Goro-esque boss zombie spawning from time to time.
With the return of elemental weapons (which always seem to be a shoe-in positive for any map), Ancient Evil felt more 'Zombies' than its three previous experiences. It was such a breath of fresh air, it's made it into my top ten. Who'd have thunk it?
