Sometimes casting is just too perfect to pass up. Other outlets have switched around with the idea that Dwayne Johnson could pull off the eccentric Augustus Cole. Deep down, fans know there is only one man who can bring Cole to life and that is Lester Speight.
Cole is a vibrant, ecstatic individual that brings a contagious sense of joy to his work. Fans and fellow gears can't help but be swept up by Cole's larger than life personality.
Speight has voiced Cole since 2006 and has portrayed the character in each appearance in the franchise. What fans may not know is just how similar Speight is to Cole in reality. Both Speight and Cole are former American football stars. Speight even went on to play office linebacker Terry Tate in a viral collection of short videos.
Speight has gone on to star in a number of roles including appearances in Transformers, Titans, and more.
