Crash Bandicoot: Ranking Every N. Sane Trilogy Boss Battle

3. Dingodile - Warped

It's likely that as Dingodile only has one appearance in the golden era trilogy, he stands out all the more because of it. In fact, when the game first released on PS4, some of his ruggedly Australian lines had been cut and fans noticed immediately. Boss interaction in the arena itself was often fairly small, usually backed up by mini cutscenes before and after the battle, so the fact Dingodile's cut lines caused such fuss shows you how memorable he was.

Even that jangling sound effect as the gem walls crashed down around him rivals Crash's 'WHOA!' for nostalgia factor. Then there's the fact the battle could be tricky but it never cheated you. Dingodile's gun took a couple of seconds to power up for you to dodge it, and shadows told you where his projectiles were going to land. It was the constant running around the ring while watching both that made it harder, not random bursts of fire.

There was even an opportunity to take a quicker, riskier route, appealing to more skilled players. Rather than wait for a huge gap in his defensive wall, you could rush in smaller cracks and weave your way to victory.
