Crash Bandicoot: Ranking Every N. Sane Trilogy Boss Battle

10. Tiny Tiger - Warped

Crash Bandicoot Sane Trilogy Cortex
Vicarious Visions

The first Warped boss you face is also the lowest ranked on the list. Reiterating from Koala Kong, none of Crash boss battles are bad. And Warped probably has the best blend, which sees them all make the top ten. But it has to lose points when compared to the other four it's packaged with, as it comes out as the worst of a great bunch.

Even with the wacky goings-on in Crash, the battle just doesn't make sense. It's in the lion's den at a Roman colosseum, but he's a tiger, so why would he be there? And is he a gladiator? Why is Cortex in the background as a Roman emperor?

The basic idea of an enemy wave to dodge followed by waiting for the opportunity to get a hit in on the boss is decent, but other bosses do it better. It's a fairly safe boss, memorable in the first one from Warped but unlikely to be many peoples' favourite.

At least he doesn't have that awful lisp he has in later games though. And the crowd throwing cheese at you if you tried the original method of hiding from the lions in the corner was a neat touch.
