Crash Team Racing PS1: Ranking EVERY Racer From Worst To Best

N. Tropy was one of the best characters in Crash Team Racing for one simple reason. If you got him, you had freakin' earned him.

N. Tropy was the time ghost on all the Time Trials, helping you spot shortcuts as you tried to beat his time and earn the right to play as him. Once you had beaten him in every course, he was yours to own, and taunt your mates with that you were obviously better than them.

Before online gaming, Crash Team Racing thrived on the atmosphere of living rooms. N. Tropy was a massive part of that; there was no easy way to get your mitts on him either.

He's a great character in his own right too, coming into Crash Team Racing fresh off a key role in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped and one of the most inventive and enjoyable boss battles in the original trilogy.

His Crash stock fell afterwards, but of course that's not a factor here. He'd be a worthy first place too, given the effort it takes to unlock him, but unfortunately for him he's fallen just at the last hurdle.
