Crysis 3: 5 Reasons Why It Will Inevitably Disappoint

1. Plot

Crysis 3 header 2 Number one on my admittedly small list is Crysis 3€™s plot. The way Crysis 2 ended for those who don€™t, but those who don€™t wish to know; put your head in a bucket and shut your eyes for a second. Alcatraz defects the scary Aliens, saves New York and suddenly proclaims:

€œThey call me Prophet"

This is because Prophet has now taken over Alcatraz€™s body, in my eyes revealing him to be the actual villain as it just sort of happens and no-one bats an eye. You don€™t know if Alcatraz wanted to be taken over, but I€™m guessing not. So, from a drop off like that, we can€™t honestly expect anything more from a writer€™s team that apparently creates the plot by talking to a pile of rocks. All we know so far is the city has been covered in some form of giant Nanodome created by the C.E.L.L. This only fuels my earlier comment that Crysis 3 seems to be extended DLC and was never meant to be a full title, but fans will buy anything so that doesn€™t really matter anyway. That's the nature of the publisher/fan relationship - it's an abusive one. On 14th of February I will be popping up to London to play Crysis 3 in an IMAX cinema, so I can have all my doubts confirmed.
