Cyberpunk 2077: 10 Awesome Cyberpunk Games To Play RIGHT NOW
8. E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy
Cyberpunk, like most science fiction, loves to throw around nonsense nouns for organisations or concepts with little in the way of explanation. The very name, E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy, in that regard is a mission statement for this game which revels in its indecipherable lore and obscures its mechanics and systems in such a way that it makes Dark Souls seem like your chatty neighbour.
And honestly, this game is a bit of a mess - but it’s an interesting mess.
There are such an extensive variety of perks and abilities available to the player, and because their uses are often poorly explained, it’s difficult to know what to spend your hard-earned experience on. On the other hand, these tech trees give players innovative powers including hacking, psionics, and the ability to summon a squad of AI companions out of thin air.
The game’s setting features intergalactic governments clashing with secret societies of gun-toting, warrior monks clad in Warhammer-esque power armour.
The game is influenced by games such as Deus Ex, Thief, and Half-Life; if you have an appetite for games that are interesting failures, then you might want to check this one out.
