Cyberpunk 2077 REVIEW - 6 Ups & 2 Downs

2. Immersion & A Killer Soundtrack

I'll get to the driving in a sec, but what kept me coming back alongside the fast travel system was the soundtrack, as my Lord, this is an absolute stomper of a mix.

Every single track is an infectious ear-worm that provides heavy hitting basslines and aggressive techno stylings, suiting this game down to the ground. I was banging my head so much that I'd often just sit in the car, feet away from the mission checkpoint just so I could see out a killer tune.

I feel like I've barely scratched the surface with this review. I feel like I'm not doing it justice, but in that regard, I instantly know what I think of Cyberpunk 2077.

This is a great game, a phenomenal one even, that just keeps giving you more and more and more, to the point of excess. As hour after hour drips by you'll realize how ironic it is that a game about being slaves to technology has turned you into one.

I love this game, and it will not be any surprise to know it's a contender for Game of The Year. In fact, it may well take me the remainder of this and the majority of 2021 to even see half of what's on offer.

An incredibly engaging narrative, huge amounts of content, playstyles for everyone and customization options through the roof, the question of "what more can you ask for?" has now been replaced with "what else is left to give you?"
