Dark Souls Remastered Wishlist: 10 Features Fans Need To See

8. Implement Unfinished Storylines

Dark Souls
FromSoftware

There is a lot of cut content for Dark Souls that sounds incredibly interesting. None of it is truly massive in scope, with most cut features simply being NPC storylines that weren't entirely finished. So, it wouldn't be much of a stretch for a couple of NPC's to be given the treatment they were meant to have in the original release.

Shiva of the East immediately springs to mind. In the current game, he's kind of just... there.

Sure, he sells you weapons, but he's one of the most out of place and strange characters in the game. But, the cut content gives him an entirely new purpose and one that would be quite easy to implement. Add an extra item, implement some new dialogue and boom, he's got a questline.

Oscar's questline would be a very interesting one to see, considering how in the original release he dies at the very beginning. It would be incredible if his intended storyline of being your 'companion' throughout the game was implemented, and would make one of the most beloved characters even more fun to be around.

I like video games, writing and writing about video games. Expect sarcasm and the dry wit of a Brit. And the occasional rant of a unhappy Scot. You know... the usual.
