Days Gone: 13 Essential Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

5. Save Fuel By Coasting Down Hills

As mentioned previously, your bike in Days Gone eats through fuel like nobody's business (especially before you've upgraded the tank), and it's easy to find yourself in a sticky situation where you might only have just enough to make your way to the nearest gas station.

One handy way to save fuel is to actually walk your bike however, rather than hitting the accelerator at all times. When you're going downhill in particular, let go of the right trigger and let the bike glide down on its own. It's just as fast, as it doesn't cost fuel.

Likewise, walking your bike into friendly and hostile camps (simply press up on the stick without holding the trigger to do this) is also a great idea, as it not only saves gas, but reduces the noise you make, allowing you to park up closer to the battlefield.
