Days Gone: 13 Essential Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
6. Send Saved Civilians To Copeland (Initially)
One of the more common random events you can encounter in the world has you (sometimes begrudgingly) saving civilians being terrorised by bandits or Freakers. Once you've played the hero, you'll have the option to send them back to a camp, which early on will probably have you choosing between Tucker and Copeland's safehouses.
The former might look more appealing, as you get way more money for sending them there, but you should be prioritising Copeland, at least initially. You get fewer credits, but the boost in trust there is more than worth it (a currency you don't get at Tucker's), and it unlocks essential bike upgrades that you absolutely want to focus on across the first couple of hours.
Also, once you start doing missions for Tucker, it's actually a little difficult to level up Copeland in terms of credits and trust, so while you're raking it in for the new settlement, this is an easy way to keep the other one ticking over.
