4. Freakers Can't Climb Ladders

The Freakers in Days Gone are more agile than average zombies, closer to the animal-like swarms found in World War Z than the braindead shamblers of a George Romero movie. They'll pursue you even on a bike, and always find a way to climb up to whatever "safe" high ground you might have retreated to.

They do have a weakness though: ladders.

Freakers can climb, but for whatever reason they don't have the mental knowhow left to manage to get up a set of ladders. Depending on where you climb to, they might find an alternate way up to your position, but using ladders will still allow you to put some space between you and your enemies or, if you're lucky, make Freakers easy pickings for a stream of molotov cocktails.
