NERO points are some of the most valuable areas worth exploring in Days Gone, as solving the little puzzles that unlock the facilities always nets you either a boost to health, stamina or focus, and there's plenty of other benefits that come with clearing them out. For one, there's always a fuel can lying around to make sure you're topped up, which becomes even more useful when the NERO points double as fast travel areas.

However, unlocking a NERO facility as a fast travel area requires you to either shoot or disable the alarms littered around the environment. These are usually located on the tops of buildings or at the main entrances, but sometimes they can be trickier to find, especially if it's a larger facility. You should be looking for them anyway though, as leaving them up will alert nearby Freakers, potentially bringing a horde your way.

Disabling them all won't just make your life easier, but it'll open up a convenient fast travel point for the rest of the game.
