8. There's Loot Inside Freaker Nests

While you should absolutely be burning down every Freaker nest you see in order to clear areas for fast travel (and in most cases unlock handy refuelling points as well), don't just throw a molotov at a nest, kill the monsters inside and hightail it.

Instead, wait for the fire to die down as it'll burn away the twigs and dung these makeshift lairs are made out of, and you'll be able to explore inside. There'll always be a special crafting material to find, but sometimes there'll be a loot box that'll give you even more resources.

Its a little annoying having to wait for the nests to fully disappear, but it's worth hanging around, especially if you're low on items.
