Days Gone 2: 10 Major Questions It Must Answer

5. Are The Anarchists Going To Be Major Villains?

Speaking of plot points which are brought up and then dropped within the space of about an hour, the introduction of a new bandit gang, the Anarchists, is treated as a pretty major moment. After the Rippers are defeated, these guys re-enter Oregon, with dialogue informing players that they once posed a huge threat to our heroes.

The idea is that they're planning on moving back into the territory and making your life hell, but outside of the initial warning, the plotline isn't actually developed. In gameplay terms, they're pretty much just another set of interchangeable bad guys for you to fight, even though everything in the lore points to them being more than that.

Are they being introduced to be the villains of the next game? What are those stone artefacts they leave everywhere? Why are they so feared? These are all questions a sequel (or DLC) needs to answer.
