13. Choose A Starting Gift Suitable For Your Class

But before setting off on your journey, you'll have to decide on an appropriate starting gift for your character. There are a grand total of 10 to choose from, if you decide to include the option of 'none' which only the most hardcore of players take pleasure in. Although you can't really go wrong with any of these items, you'd do well to pick a starting gift that suits your chosen class.

The Knight class, for example, has a pretty low luck statistic that comes with it, making the choice of the Providential Ring a smart one considering that it boosts luck and results in greater item discovery. The player who chooses the Hunter class, on the other hand, may be better off taking the Fire Arrow; while the Thief class will have more success with the Soul Remains, which can be used to distract enemies and backstab them for critical damage.
