2. BFG-9000
No weapon cries "Doom" more than the BFG. Come to think of it, there's lots of crying involved with the BFG. Of the distinctly demonic kind.
As far as weapons of awesome potential go, the BFG is iconic, having been copied, referenced and parodied since it's inception in 1993.
In Doom Eternal, it more than lives up to its name, with Doom Guy literally ripping it from the inside an even bigger, planet destroying version. And oh, boy is it a blast. (Honestly, no pun intended).
Unlike the Unmaykr, which fires powerful but conventional automatic rounds, the BFG only needs one shot. A single green blast of unlimited power fantasy and hellish regret that destroys every moving pixel in its path. If you see anything standing after a blast from this testament to destructive badassery, chances are you're looking in a mirror.
Only one minor nitpick exists with the BFG: ammo is few and far between, even with the unlimited ammo cheat. But hey, if it was everywhere, this game would be too damn easy.
You may not be able to shoot a hole into the surface of mars, but you can damn sure shoot it through four Barons if you line it up right.
