Whether you'll tire of the relentless onslaught of blood, guts n' bullets is entirely subjective, but for thousands of us that have been waiting for a PC-style shooter to make its way onto consoles, DOOM is a resounding success, specifically because it does the total opposite of everything Call of Duty, Battlefield etc. have built their names on.
