Dragon Age: Inquisition - 5 Things We Learned From E3

1. Bigger World, Bigger Dragons

Oh, yeah, the dragons - they're a pretty big part of Dragon Age. The new and improved world map, which lets characters explore to their heart's content (except for areas where they would get killed immediately, which are sensibly blocked off) and destroy pretty much anything they come across, will be home to countless fire-breathing beasties for you to have amazing valiant battles with. Naturally, what with their prominent position in the game's title and all, Bioware have given the dragons in Inquisition a serious upgrade. If you thought you'd got a handle on your biggest enemies in the previous games then think again, because these dragons are a whole new challenge. Whilst you have a tooled up combat system to work with, so do the dragons, who can now attack more dynamically, retreating when under fire and then flying back to knockout your whole group in one fell swoop. The overall impression we're getting from Dragon Age: Inquisition is that Bioware are taking the opportunity to build on the previous titles in the franchise, and taking advantage of the increased power of next gen consoles to create a game that's more complex, engaging, entertaining and bloody huge in comparison to anything that's come before.
