Dragon Ball FighterZ: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

21. Tien

Dragon Ball Fighterz
Arc System Works

Ah yes, the typical risk vs. reward archetype that developers always struggle to find a balance for. Game-breakingly overpowered or total weaksauce; rarely in-between.

Credit where it's due, Arc System Works manages to keep the scales level to a greater degree than other fighters, but sadly, Tien, as the recipient of said playstyle, teeters toward the latter camp.

An intimidating mixup game he may have, thanks to potentially crazy Volleyball Fist combos, but the main portion of Tien's damage comes from his Supers. Tri-Beam and its Neo variant are absurdly powerful, but require that the chrome dome sacrifice a portion of his health gauge for maximum clout, the payoff for which just isn't worth it.

Keep your third eye on those inevitable balance changes, Tien - all hope's not lost just yet.
