Character customization isn’t a mandatory requirement these days, but more and more games have allowed players to pick and choose different cosmetic options that allow the player’s character to feel like their own.

This type of customization spans multiple genres like sports games, mobile games, RPGs, shooters, etc. so why not this game?

Understandably, since players aren’t creating a character from scratch here, customization has been put on the backburner, but with lore as rich and as long as Dragon Ball Z’s there are a ton of opportunities to allow players some level of customization.

The Power Pole, the Z- sword, Vegeta’s pink “Badman” shirt, Saiyan battle armor, Gohan’s Dragon Ball hat and even Hercule’s afro are all examples of iconic items that would allow the player to customize their characters into a unique creation of their own, as well as provide some more fan service for players.

This also would be a way to reintroduce better loot and collectibles into the game, because it would entice players to explore the world more with hopes of a cool reward for their character.
